How much does engineering backlogs matter while applying for management colleges?
I have quite a few repetitive backlogs in the famed engineering subject i. e. maths. It took me more than 8 attempts to clear the subject. Will it affect my probability to get admitted in a good management institute?

It depends upon the college policies. But, as per my concern, many colleges and institutions see it seriously and even many appreciate it or ignore it. Just if you know anyone where you want to do your management course, just consult with them. They are better person to answer this question.

Backlogs many a times are a problem and many times they are ignored. It's actually the circumstances which matter a lot. As you have explained if you have to appear 8 times before you could clear your Maths it could be appreciated and ignored during the interview for admission in management college it will definitely be not counted almost hundred percent in the interviews of placements. What matters most in any such postgraduate courses is your ability to impress the interviewer about your intentions, about your other achievements and your tenacity to work hard and overcome the odds. Best wishes to you.
