How much does the university name affect the chances of admission in a german university?

Are the IITs considered highly in germany? Would a student from IIT Bombay be preferred to another non-IIT student given the same CGPA?

Hi, Well to be honest University name does play a part but not that much. All that is important is that you need to clear your graduation from a recognized University and that too with a respectable percentage. Your admission in any foreign University would depend on your GRE/GMAT and IELTS/TOEFL
