How much IIT-R is good for research oriented students and in my case it is M.Sc physics?

Hi Deepak,
IIT, Roorkee is a good institute for research and if you wish to pursue here you should go for it but wisely choose your guide under which you want to continue research. This you can do by talking to students already doing research there which will help you in choosing right guide. Also, IIT Roorkee has many research facilities.
