Hi Adil,
Cut-off Index Score varies every year. No one can tell you what will be the cut off this year. But yes, In last few years average index score was around 225.
It reached as high as 250 (not the cut off, the highest scores), also cut off was below 210.
I hope you got a clear idea about the tentative numbers. All the best.
Higher you score, your chance will be more. -
Hi Adil!
Firstly, there are 3 major criterias to take admission, which are:
a) English is a compulsory subject
b) Minimum 60% in aggregate of English+any 3 subject to get admission.
c) The most important one is that you need to sit for an entrance exam
Now coming to the Index part,
1) To be Honest, your best of 4 percentage needs to be quite high, ie, 85+
2) in the entrance exam of 100 marks you need to score more than 60. as it will be doubled.
thus your total marks will more than 200/300.
This is because our cut off our really high.
So, best of luck to you. Don't lose hope. Do sit for the exam!
Best wishes!
