Starting salaries may be between 8-15K. However, there are 2 levels in VFX. Most jobs are at the lower level which require you to rotoscope or wire removal. As explained by Neelu, salaries are in the range 8-15K for freshers. But after experience in MNCs like Pixar, Technicolour (Bangalore), Rythm and Hues (Hyderabad) salaries are more than software engineers. 5 years of experiences guys are getting 70K per month. -Hemanth -ANITECH College -www.anitech.
