How much JEE rank should I score to get a good college? I am preparing for it from the last 1 year.

You must score above 200 marks in JEE. For doing so, you need to filter the chapters and SEE where you can get maximum marks. Smart work matters in JEE.

Your rank must be in between 10k-15k if you really want a good college. As you know there is a large competition among students, if you had a percentile of around 99 then only you will be able to score rank between 10k - 15k.

As you know that these days a lot of students are preparing for the competitive exams and it is tough to clear it. As a result, competition is more as compared to previous years. You should try to be under 3000-5000 to expect a decent college.

For that you have to score minimum 150+ to get any good college in the core branch. Other than that you cannot get a good college, if you are preparing for last 1 year then start mock test series to improve your speed and efficiency.

For getting a good college, you must have good marks in the JEE exam. Above 250 marks in the JEE paper.

To get into top most engineering college for getting good branch you should have a score of 240 and above if you are a general category student. Else it will be a bit less, read NCERT books, this will help you a lot. Good luck!
