Admission in BE/ B.Tech can be taken in 2 ways:
    1. Entrance tests like JEE, CET, etc
    2. Direct admission
Now for giving tests you need to have 40% in 12th class, and clearing this test you can get admission in govt.colleges like IITs, NITs, IITTs etc.
If you don't want to give the test or you are not able to clear the test then you can think of direct admission which is offered by many privates universities like LPU, Amity, Sharda etc but they also follow the min.percentage criteria in 12th class. This varies from university to university. Check the websites of all the universities you are interested in to know the details .
    All the best.
