    Hi Uday,
    In order to write JEE entrance you need to score atleast 50% in your 12th. board exam. 1.5 lakh students will be shortlisted for IITs – based on their scores in JEE Mains and Class XII boards. However, there has been news floating that in the upcoming year 2016, board exams may not be taken into consideration other than JEE scores. Kindly refer the below link for more information:
