    I am giving you an idea from rank, if you manage to get rank below 4000. You will able to choose CS (GEN).

    I think you have to get a minimum of 140+ if you are from the general category.

    If you belong to general category, then you will need at least 150+ marks, in order to get admission in any of the NIT. But if you belong to reservation, then you need to score only 80+. Best regards.

    You need to score more than 200 if you belong to general category else score 10 or 14 marks to get into NIT-Patna with a good branch. Hope this got cleared up, good luck!
