The 2020 intake is based on both JEE-Mains or LPU NEST if you have appeared in any of these, provided the eligibility criteria of 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English as mandatory subjects. The minimum score for JEE Mains has been put at 80percentile. You can visit the admission portal www.admission.lpu.in for full details. The admission criterion of LPU is very simple and transparent. In order to take admission in the B.Tech programme of LPU you just need to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. Hence the thumb rule is to clear LPU NEST Entrance Exam.

Dear Sanjith, You should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam to get a seat in LPU for the engineering programme. However, if you haven't got such percentile, then you may appear for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU to get admission. I am an alumnus of LPU and completed my studies at LPU in 2019. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. For availing admission in B.Arch either you have to appear NATA or JEE Main paper II, in that you should score 80 percentile or above, pertaining to this you can move forward in taking the admission, simultaneously, you should meet the requirement of scoring a minimum of 60% score in higher secondary. After fulfillment, proceed with raking admission before the last date I. e. 30th April 2020. -
