No maths is not essential in 11th for MBA HR. for MBA you should have a bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 50 % marks

Maths is important for most of the fields but NOT essential for the one that you have mentioned. However, basic knowledge of maths always prove to be good in the career irrespective of the kind of the field.
