Your monthly salary depends on the skills and knowledge gained during the course and B.Voc Degree in Hotel Management gives the best industry exposure and training. Yes, do not expect more than 20 but expect more than 40 or 50 or may be 60. If you are candidate with good communication, and one who not follow the crowd. Do your internship alone, from Hong Kong, USA, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc.

Salary depends on the level of post you join at and the salary always vary up with companies. And, yes, if you study well and your interview goes good, you may even get upto 40-50k as a management trainee in leading groups like Taj, Oberoi, Sheraton, etc.

Hi,
If you are a fresher, then you can expect a starting salary of Rs.10k to Rs.12k, but if you have a decent experience, then your salary can range up to Rs.20k to Rs.25k.

Dear Vishal, A fresher with a Certificate and Diploma can earn somewhere around 12000 to 15000 per month and for a candidate with a degree in hotel management, the starting salary could be anything around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. But if you complete a hotel management programme from LPU, then you may get a high salary. My cousin did BHMCT from LPU and he told me that the highest package offered for the hotel management programme at LPU is 8.5 LPA and the average package is 2.4 LPA.
