PU is better in terms of placements. Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU every year. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes:

Well, there are couple of companies that demand high CGPA but most of the companies don't stress on that. They SEE how a person presents oneself, conduct oneself in a interview. For campus placement at LPU, one has to register oneself for placements. You pay a fee of Rs 10000. Once the university enrols in the placements, you have to attend PEP, (professional enhancement programme) classes. The classes are aimed at improving the student's soft skills, communication skills, cognitive skills, verbal ability and analytical ability. Every student is given couple of chances. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspirin

Hi, I donot much about LPU however based on my experience I would recommend Chandigarh University if you want to secure placement for yourself in well reputed firms. Chandigarh University has again proved its leadership when it comes to the students' placements & also has come up with new placement records. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and over 757 recruiters made more than 7500 offers. The highest Package stood at INR 52.11 LPA which was offered by Charter Global. During its summer internship placement drive of the batch 2020-22, the highest internship stipend of INR 1 Lacs per month was offered.

There are 2 types of companies- ones which focus on CGPA score which shall be atleast between 6.5-7 for placement and more if it comes to B.Tech or maangemnt courses. The others are who inyereview the students andsee their skills and conduct at thetime of interview and do not stress on CGPA score. However packages can vary accordingly. So try and maintain upto 7 CGPA.

Most companies want 6 to 6.5 CGPA. If you have a minimum CGPA still you will be able to sit for 7075% of the companies However, some companies want it around 8.5. It is just a threshold set by companies to filter students. If you have a CGPA of more than 8.5 you will be eligible for 100% of the companies. Having a 7 CGPA with skills is far better than having a 9 CGPA with zero skillsets. Companies are not looking for bookworms. They are looking for skilled individuals.
Do your best because your parents & relatives will only check your CGPA, not skills and yes if you are good enough maintaining a 78 CGPA in LPU will not be a big deal for

In LPU to get a decent placement, you need to maintain a minimum of 7 CGPA. However if you are taking admission in MBA or B.Tech in CSE or IT like programs then you should try to always score more than 7 CGPA (as much as you can). If you clear aptitude phase and your CGPA is qualifying the company's criteria then what matters is how you present yourself to the interviewer, how you try to sell yourself for corporate life. More convincing you are high package is assigned under your name. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. Hi there, I am alumni of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is management and discipline. In LPU scoring CGPA is not a big deal if you study well because they provide great amount of study materials and teachers here in LPU do care about your scores. To get placed at LPU you need good CGPA alteast of 6.5/10 and apart from this you should be able to communicate and able to give the interview in mannered way then you may get placed. And LPU does take care of your analytical and communication skills. They do provide PEP classes in which they prepare their students on
