    The DMLT course covers both theory and practical, but tends towards the practical work in a hospital laboratory setting. There is a lot of time spent at practical sessions learning how to collect, test and analysing the samples. 

    The course includes theory covering human anatomy, Pathology, microbiology, and lab ethics. The practical sessions are getting familiar with lab equipment, safety protocols, how to conduct tests, and report results. This coverage prepares them well to enter a laboratory settings.
