I inquired from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that for taking admission in B.Tech you need to be eligible as the eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. Considering your marks, you need to appear in LPU NEST. The University is conducting remotely proctored online LPU NEST from home since month of May and will also continue same in June. LPU promotes following scholarship: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first.
