Generally there is a minimum 55% requirement to get admission in any mass comm college but still depends the upon the college. Like NIMCJ a mass communication college in India require 55% in graduation for PG course.

The eligibility criteria of B.A. (JMC) of Shri Shikshayatan College
Eligibility criteria : Minimum 50% aggregate AND 45% in English OR 55% in English if aggregate below 50% but more than 45%.
Note:- Candidates belonging to the SC / ST communities should obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subjects. SC & ST communities recognized by Govt. of West
Bengal are only eligible for the exemption mentioned above . Reservation of seats for OBC-A & OBC-B as per University rules.
