    There is no requirement per se, it's just easier for a student with a higher percentage to get an admission.

    To get into IIM - A, you need to score reasonably decent in your 10th and 12th exams. That means somewhere around 80 - 90% is a must need. This is because they do check your past scores and it is one of the important factor of evaluation there. May your CAT score be good but if your academics and other factors like GD, PI doesn't turn out to match there satisfactory level you would surely loose admission.

This is because they do check your past scores and it is one of the important factor of evaluation there. May your CAT score be good but if your academics and other factors like GD, PI doesn't turn out to match there satisfactory level you would surely loose admission.

    If you want to get admission in IIM-A then you have to score 70-80% in 10th and 12th.

    55% is must to enroll for MBA and rest depends on your CAT exam.

    If you want to get in top 10 then for sure more than 85 in 10th and 12th class and more than 80 percent in graduation is required because more than 80% marks will put you in good academic scale and then you will be left with CAT. Hit hard at CAT with at least 90 percentile if you want to get into top IIMs.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Kashipur, the CAT test was conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Kashipur were required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 was held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

IIM Kashipur CAT Cutoff 2024 was released soon after the declaration of the CAT 2024 result. Last year, the CAT percentile cutoff had remained 94. Looking at the past years' trend, there is a high probability of the CAT percentile cutoff to fall between 94-97. 

IIM Kashipur admission 2025 to MBA course is based on CAT 2024 scores followed by Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates must note that for admission to IIM Kashipur, they are required to meet both the overall CAT cut off percentile and also the sectional cut offs.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for admission at Prin. N.G. Naralkar Institute of Career Development and Research. However, it is not compulsory to have a CAT score for a seat in the institute. Aspirants with a score in MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA or MAH MBA CET can also get admission through CAP Counselling rounds. Candidates must score equal or above the NICDR Pune cutoff for admission in the institute.
