    The minimum and maximum rank required for admission through CLAT may vary depending on the year and the participating institutions. However, generally, candidates who secure a rank within the top 500-600 have a good chance of getting admission to the National Law Universities (NLUs) that participate in CLAT. For some of the more popular NLUs, such as NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, and NUJS Kolkata, the required rank may be even lower, within the top 100-200.
