The salary of a News Anchor is based on their goodwill, employer, relevant experience, and expertise. Though the average salary of a Famous TV Anchor is around INR 27 LPA, the starting for a Fresh Anchor is around INR 7.7 LPA.

The new comers or those who are in their mid-career, usually starts with low incomes and the experienced anchors bags in huge amount of money.
