    That's a tad bit difficult to say. It would depend on how your basics are and how well you grasp things. It varies from time to time. There are plenty of mock tests available. Use them and assess you knowledge, then decide how much time you need to spend for preparations.

    If you have good command over maths and English then you need 8 to 10 months of practice to surpass the threshold of 90 percentile in CAT exam. But keep on reviewing everything that you learned. CAT is one of the toughest management entrance exams. You need to devote 6 hours a day for CAT preparations. The consistency of your efforts will help you to crack CAT.
