Hi, Students new to paper pattern can take up to a year or more, but the ones with a bit background or knowledge can grasp the concept overall in 6 to 8 months. There are students who study from years and still can't make to IIM's and even the fresher crack the admission process with less training.

3 months are enough if you have a bit command on English. If not, 5 to 6 months.

You generally need 4-6 months preparation to crack CAT. It will be tough for sure, so prepare accordingly. Good luck.
