The time that is required to prepare for Product Design entrance exams differs based on the exam for which you're preparing, along with it's competitiveness and difficulty level.
It is better to start your preparation as early as possible at least 6 to 8 months before the entrance exam is tentatively scheduled to take place. This gives you enough of time to cover the entire syllabus, take a look at previous year question papers, and plan a revision in the last 1-2 months.
