Start today and you can get a good rank. Every person has a different speed and level of understanding. Most important thing is to stay motivated and think about what will you get after clearing the exam, how much do you want it. Make friends who have a similar goal and see how they are preparing. B

Hi, 7-8 months are sufficient to prepare, but if you want to score good marks, take one year time to prepare well.

I think 7 to 8 months are sufficient to prepare for GATE exam. The key to crack any exam is to be consistent and precise. Keep strict to your syllabus do not read anything. First 5 months revise concepts and give part test then at last 2 months give full-length papers and then with your mistakes rev
