In engineering field, there is very low preference of percentage of class 12th,
To get admission, you should have good score card in JEE Mains examination.

I read from somewhere that one has to score 75% aggregate marks per subject to eligible in IIT's & NIT's. sufficient .Therefore, as per mine view, Board Result plays an important role for Engineering stream.

You must have an aggregate percentage of 45% for General/OBC Category and 40% for ST/SC category
