How much tough is CAT from the MAT exam?

MAT exam is comparatively easier than CAT Exam, level of difficulty in CAT is more than MAT. Also, MAT fetches penalty of 0.25 for each wrong question but CAT fetches 1/3 or say 0.33 penalty for wrong answer. I hope this would help.

MAT exam is a bit easier than CAT. In MAT, it's like basic questions to be asked from a candidate but in case of CAT, level of questions are very hard. You can't solve questions of mathematics and reasoning without any preparation.

Hi, Both MAT and CAT are entrance examinations that management colleges accept. There are several institutes which accept both. Both are fairly popular as well. However CAT is the exam which helps you most and is accepted by the best B-Schools in India. On the other hand MAT is the easier version.

Obviously, CAT is more tough than MAT. Every year, more than INR. 2 lacs students appeared and around 20-25 thousands.

CAT is no doubt tougher than MAT. You have to be very consistent in studies for CAT and should have a deep knowledge and intense practice of everything. If you are aiming for CAT 2019, you must start the preparation today. Nothing is impossible, just trust your capabilities. All the best.

CAT is a lot tougher than MAT. You can simply attempt MAT exam. There is no need for preparation. CAT on the other hand needs a lot of preparation.
