8 years agoThe salary depends on a variety of factors, including where you work, for whom you work and what type or level of designer you are. As a fresher the starting salaries might be 4lakhs to 6 lakhs per anum.
FX School alumni are well placed in the industry and many have set up their own independent production houses. Notable alumni include Abhijit Kokate and Karen Williams who worked as editors on the Filmfare Awards Winner in 2015 for Best Editing Queen. VFX alumni Rashabh Bhutani has worked in top VFX companies such as Rhythmn&Hues, Double Negative and MPC, on major Hollywood films such as Life of Pi and Insterstellar.

Diploma is a good option after class 10th, but after class 12th, one must do graduation instead of doing Diploma. Graduation is important for good profile in jobs. So, better to get admission in B.Tech after class 12th rather than after (12th + Diploma). Even B.Sc is far better than doing Diploma after class 12th.
