How much would a scjp exam cost? Any suggestions of institutes in chennai?
Is it necessary to join an institute for preparing for the exam or could i prepare for it on my own?

The cost of SJP voucher is around INR 7500.
For preparation, the best institute would be NIIT. The NIIT course costed me around INR 16000 when I joined it in year 2008. Formore details, check out with your nearest NIIT center.
