The merit list for final selection is prepared as per the process given below:

    • A single combined merit list is prepared based on the total marks secured by candidates in the written exam and SSB Interview
    • The final allocation/selection for admission to the Army, Navy, Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy is done as per the number of vacancies subjected to candidates' eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference
    • While allocation/selection to one service/course, they will not be considered for admission to other remaining services/courses

Here is the procedure followed to prepare a candidate's NDA marksheet:

    • A merit list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in written exam and SSB interview combined.

    • Candidate's fitness and merit are judged to allot them into Army, Navy or Air Force in National Defence Academy (NDA) .

    • 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Navel Academy is then made based on vacancies.

    • Once selected for a particular post or service, a candidate will not be considered for another one .

To know more about NDA, candidates can refer to the official website or Shiksha.
