How should I prepare for AIPGDEE in two months? Which books should I refer to?

well its difficult to prepare for AIPG in two months. focus more on clinical subjects, its 60:40 ratio, so concentrate more on clinical subjects. and study last 5 year repeated questions in aipg as well as aiims medical & dental both. last year there were lot of picture based questions so be thorough with that too. hope it helped. n all d best. -
Tips:1. Any drug with oral or Dental significance needs to be read.2. Give a lot of importance to C/I (contradictions) than to indications. Especially, renal insufficiency, cardio patients and pregnancy, lactation and pediatric patients need to be emphasized.3. Management of pain, bleeding, infection, shock needs to be grasped.4. Therapeutic, limiting and toxic doses for adult, pediatric and compromised patients aresignificant.5. Emergencies.6. HIV, AIDS.7. Drug classes and classification of all categories.This is important at least to know the drug names, and the class of drugs. This will act as an aid in solving tricky questions.8. C...more
