How should I prepare for CAT as I am from biology background? Will I get academic diversity if I am doing for B.Sc biotechnology?

My profile: 12th-75.2%, 10th-9.8 CGPA and got 81.75% in my 1st semester exam. Can I get a call from IIM?

Prepare the basics of maths of 9/10 the class. Take any good CAT preparation book like Arun Sharma, start practicing the problems. If you find it very difficult to solve than go for coaching. If its manageable than join a good test series. Keep practicing problems for ball the 3 sections- Quant/Verbal/DI-LR.
