8 years agoJust go through the concepts off basic mathematics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics. 60% of your CAT paper will get covered of you make strong these areas. Verbal is next 40% which is mainly grammar and reading comprehension. This needs practice. Try previous years question papers. I would suggest you to join a coaching. As they have a planned curriculum with regular tests which will help you a lot in preparation. -
Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR, Quants.
Verbal ability-
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. However, reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis.
DILR-
