How should I prepare for CAT?

How to crack CAT and other exams related to MBA? Kindly suggest some good colleges other than IIMs.

    Hello,
    There are 3 sections in CAT exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants.
    VERBAL ABILITY
    Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. But reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis.
    DILR
    This is one of the toughest section especially from previous 2-3 years. Not only it is tough but it also checks how quick your senses are and how good you are in selecting the sets. So the best thing to score in LR-DI is to pra

    If you preparing by yourrself, few tips below mentioned can be helpful to you.
    1 Identify first the Strengths and weaknesses section-wise
    2 Understand the Basics first and make your concepts and fundamentals clear
    3 Take as many Mocks as possible and analyse each mock to assess your performance
    4 Improve your Speed with Accuracy.

    Coaching institutions like Career Launcher, IMS, CPLC, TIME and CATking are the best for preparation.
    FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IMI Delhi, IIFT Delhi, S. P. Jain, XLRI, SIBM Pune, MICA Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad, KJ Somaiya, Sydenham and JBIMS are few good colleges for MBA.
