    GATE (The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) 2017 Exam is a gateway for qualifying candidates to secure admission for postgraduate programs in centrally funded Indian institutions. This year IIT, Roorkee is organising the GATE exam.
    GATE is highly competitive entrance exam where lakhs of candidates appear for examination and hence some tips and tricks are necessary to achieve the best results
    Once should keep in mind the following things while preparing:
    1. What are you aiming at? Top IITs/PSUs or you just want to qualify.
    2. Judge your current knowledge and competence and prepare accordingly.
    3. Concept building and practice.

No, you can't take admission in M.Tech at IIIT Delhi without appearing for the GATE exam. The institute offers this two-year full-time programme at the postgraduate level.
