How should I prepare for GMAT exam?

Hi Abhinav,
To begin with, you can take a diagnostic test. Identify your areas of weakness and strengths. A very common mistake which many aspirants do is, that they focus more on the weak areas and fail to score well in the areas, they actually had scope.
You can take practice tests every week. The actual score does not vary much from the practice test score and you will have an idea. -

There are certain essential differences between CAT and GMAT.
1. Quants section of CAT is tougher than GMAT. In CAT you can afford to skip questions, but in GMAT. You cannot do that.
2. If you don't do well in CAT then next year you can take CAT again. If you don't do well in GMAT. You can retake GMAT after few months. Speed and accuracy is essence of both.
3. CAT cost: Rs.2000 approximately for per-form.
4. GMAT. Rs.16k approximately for per appearance. I hope this helps.
