    Hello,
    *Do it smartly
    Most of us believe that in order to become an IAS officer, it's important to work hard. We believe that we need to study 10 hours or more, every day. But for desired results, all that a person needs to do is to walk the smart way which could mean reading selectively but reading well, reading many books selectively, mixing books and notes, making short notes, learning time management, taking mock tests and etc.

    The steps are quite simple if you make it a habit.
    Step 1: Know the Exam Pattern.
    Step 2: Know the Exam Syllabus.
    Step 3: Preparation of General Studies.
    Step 4: Go Through Previous Year Papers.
    Step 5: Subject Wise Preparation Strategy.
    You MUST know your SWOT before you proceed with anything.

    You need to have an undergraduate degree in any renowned university. Once you clear IAS exam you can go to renowned coaching institutes.
