How should I prepare for IELTS (writing test) if I opt for self-study? How can I score good marks in IELTS?

Hi Sarthak,
I have also given IELTS exam 3 years back by preparing myself and got a decent score. The time constraint is always there through the exam.
Reading - For me reading was the toughest part. Some paragraphs were very confusing. I don't think you can do much about it, but reading newspapers, magazines helps. Got 6.5
Listening - Audios are available on Internet. Just download them and listen again and again. Got 7.5
Speaking- Was about self, hobbies, ambition etc. All they check is how well you are able to communicate your thoughts. Try speaking different words in your daily life. I scored 7.
