How should I prepare for the IAS exam?

I am a class 11th science student. I am pursuing my HSC in Bengali medium.

    Hello dear, to clear the IAS examination conducted by the union public service commission. One needs to be very hardworking. 3 stages are prelims, Mains, and interviews also known as a personality tests. For prelims read the ncert books for concepts and do a lot of mock tests. For Mains go-to standard books and do a lot of practice of answer writing. For interviews, give mock interviews. You can refer to this official page of Shiksha.     Hi there, IAS exam or CSE is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam is conducted at an all India level. UPSC recruits the candidates for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Forest Service (IFS) and Central Civil Services through this exam. All the ministries and the departments in the union and state governments are headed by the IAS officers that make this exam the prestigious one in the nation.     Hi, First of all, you should be well aware of the IAS syllabus which you can have at UPSC portal. You have to daily read at least 2 or 3 newspapers one of which should be an English newspaper. You need to make a time table for your study. Regarding books, you can consult with NCERT (9th-12th) for basic knowledge and others can be viewed at UPSC portal.

    Firstly, you complete your 12th then after go for graduation and follow the tips:
    1. try to be creative. when you will write an essay or when you will answer descriptive question try to show your creativity. whatever you will write in the paper write intelligently.
    2. choose the subject for civil service main examination according to your stream of study. in which subject you have good knowledge choose only that subject. first read the syllabus of each paper then choose the paper according to your knowledge.
