    The required procedure to enter MCKV Institute of Engineering to pursue B.Tech is to prepare herself/himself by devoting enough time to the board exams of 12th standard, and the common entrance exams suitable for the engineering colleges in West Bengal are WBJEE or JEE Main. Appearing for 12th standard examination ideally should get minimum 60% Marks and Stress on Physics Chemistry Mathematics Subjects. To be competitive for WBJEE, prepare to get a rank below 10,000 and for JEE Main, prepare for a percentile more than 70.     To prepare for B.Tech. admission at MCKV Institute of Engineering, follow these steps:

    1. Entrance Exam: It has been observed that the student should only target for WBJEE or JEE Mains only, no additional subjects. To get into the best branches, try to get a rank between the 50,000 – 70,000 mark in the WBJEE exam. To get better chance for securing seats in engineering colleges they should target a rank of less than 1,20,000 for JEE Mains.
