How should I prepare myself to get into NMIMS School of Performing Arts Mumbai for B.A. in Music (Indian Music)?

<p>The process of getting admission in NM IMS school of performing arts in Mumbai is actually quite simple but also at the same time quite nice. The basic qualification is for the students to obtain a minimum of 50% in 12th standard examination. However students with exceptional talents who have scored less than this are also admitted. The most important criteria perhaps is that the students should know something about music that is vocal or sitar and also should be able to perform to some extend in either of these disciplines. As a part of registration for admission for student is expected to upload a video of the performance in vocal or sitar recital. The admission committee after listening to all these submitted videos then will call the students and then have them perform in the audition. The marks obtained in this audition is the defining criteria for deciding the merit list.</p>
