    It's depends on your ability and how much faster you can understand your concepts.
    For scoring more you should understand very single concept, never leave a topic. Learn & Understand topics in a sequence. By doing this you can understand next topic easily. It's a efficient way and this will definitely help you.

    It depends on you but as the topics are all new in B.Tech. if you study a topic before a lecture then you will definitely have interest in the lecture and will not get bored. In this way, you will easily be able to get good marks. In B.Tech an hour of lecture has more importance than self-study even for longer hours as you will be able to clear your concepts easily during your lectures.
