How should I take admission in mass communication? What is its paper pattern? Which entrance book is good?

Hi Amar, Mass communication is just more than a field to pursue as it gets you a wide range of options available after the completion of the degree. In order to pursue Mass communication, you can take up the courses like: BJMC (Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication) B.Sc. MCAJ (Bachelors of Science in Mass communication and Journalism) You can take up the following courses from the government and private institutes. Some of the best colleges that you can choose from are: JIMS, IP Trinity, IP Maharaja Agrasen College of professional studies, IP GGS, IPU DCAC, DU AAFT, PTU In order to be a graduate from any of these colleges, you might have to write their respective entrance exams as well. A minimum of 50% in 12th from any stream is mandatory to get into the field of mass communication. Also, decide whether you are interested in the field or not by consulting your teachers and parents for guidance. Anchor, writer, film maker, journalist, reporter, transponder, director, cinematographer, editor, radio jockey, etc. are the fields that you can enroute from this field. As far as entrance book is concerned, there is none to have a sure clue about what would appear as a question in the entrance exams. Different colleges have different exam patterns and most of it belongs to current affairs, global events, news, general aptitude, logical and reasoning and general knowledge. Generally, all the universities conduct entrances for the courses like mass communication. So, you can fill forms of entrances and appear. The question paper is divided in 4 sections- 1. Logical aptitude 2. Reasoning based questions 3. English 4. Media aptitude
