How should one go about making his career as an Astronaut

I am persuing B.tech computer science at Amity univ.\nI want to become an Astronaut.Do I have to change my course.Pls tell me good Govt./Pvt. institutes offering lateral entry,and which courses will make me eligible?(like Aerospace/aeronautical engg...what are other options???).
