How should one go about preparing for the IAS exam
i have completed my graduation with commerce (accounts hons.) And i want to be IAS officer, so plz guide me about its preparation. specially with which subjects, inwhich i will do very best.

There are many subjects that one can opt for depending on his/ her preference and also previous education.
With Accounts as your background and assuming you had commerce in +2 level, you can opt for subject like Commerce, Economics or so.

For becomming an IAS you need to pass the UPSC prelims exams. The next such exam would be in June 2011 for which you need to apply between Feb-March 2011.
