How should one start her preparation to clear jee main and advanced?

I don't think that I would get good college this year for b-tech so I am planning to take a drop. please advise me how should I start my preparation, I had hardly touched my school course books after the jee main 2015 exam. please reply with the names of the books required for its preparation.

I would suggest you go for admission in a stream of your choice and not waste a year because you cannot be sure what will be the result. If you work hard and get a good score in a course you do, then companies will definitely pick you for the best job profile. So check some good univs like galgotia,
