    The college is moderately strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering Chennai, with a required pass in 12th class or equivalent from a recognised board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
