How strict is the college regarding the eligibility requirements for GNM at St. John's Medical College?

<p>The college is quite strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) at St. John’s Medical College. The requirements include:- Minimum age for admission is 17 years and there is no age bar.- Pass in 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognised board.- Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognised by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognised by Central Government. However, Science is preferable.- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognised CBSE board/Centre.- Religious sisters, who apply should have completed one year after their first religious profession.- Students awaiting result also may apply.</p>
