    The college is moderately strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.Tech. in Data Science and Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology. The requirements include a pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subjects as optional, and 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject. Adequate proficiency in English is also mandatory.
