The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.E. in Marine Engineering at AMET Chennai. The requirements include:- Pass in 12th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%.- The candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th or 12th standard exam.- Qualifying in IMU CET or IIT-JEE/any State-level Engineering Entrance Examination (minimum of 40 Percentile score) is mandatory for admission.- Minimum 60% of sanctioned strength will be admitted through IMU CET.- Passport is mandatory.- Below 25 years
