The minimum age for admission must be 17 years as on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The candidate should have passed 10+2 class with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from a recognised board. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum qualifying criteria are 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and passing in English individually.
