The college is strict when it comes to eligibility requirements for B.Sc. in Nursing. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examinations (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Botany and Zoology, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). They must also obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University if they have passed qualifying examinations other than the Higher Secondary Course Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
